Four Teams Begin to Take Shape for the TrackTown Summer Series

The first TrackTown Summer Series draft has come and gone, and it's still unclear who is running each of the four designated teams and whether this was an actual draft or some sort of centrally-managed athlete dispersal.

TrackTown USA tweeted out last night's selections. Matthew Centrowitz of the Nike Oregon Project and Brittney Reese were the first overall picks. Both went to the designated New York team.

The designated Portland team includes ex-Ducks Jenna Prandini, Laura Roesler and Mike Berry, as well as Portland-based sprinter Ryan Bailey, and Bowerman Track Club runners Betsy Saina and Andy Bayer.
